Boost Mobile Sanyo Incognito?

im thinkin about getting this phone from boost mobile but im wondering if their text messaging is still really slow. This is one of their newer phones and uses cdma so maybe their test messaging will be faster and not take up to 3 hours to receive texts lol. so my questions are:

1. Is boost mobile text messaging faster now?
2. Is the Sanyo Incognito a good phone?
