Boost mobile sanyo incognito internet not working then freezes up?

I have the sanyo incognito. i recently upgraded the firmware and now when i try to go on the internet, it says error, cannot access application then it freezes up. i also cannot go on the internet. i have the monthly unlimited plan. then i turn it off by taking out the battery then it says a system error has occurred. please wait while phone recovers
