Boost Mobile Sanyo Incognito: E-mail not working?

I have a Sanyo Incognito from Boost Mobile that I bought in May 2010. My internet browser works, that's not the problem. On the "carousel" (the menu that scrolls horizontally on the bottom of the main screen), I used to be able to access my e-mail when I went to the "Messaging" button, and then selected "Email" from that list. The "Email" button is still there, but it won't let me click on it. I don't have this problem with any other button on my phone, just the Email. It did once work when I first got it, and stopped working a few days after. I tried calling Boost and explaining, but they weren't any help. Anybody know how to get the Email application working again? Thanks in advance!
