Boost Mobile Phone "A system error has occurred. Please wait while phone recovers"?

I got my phone to turn on, but it says 'A system error has occured. Please wait while phone recovers" I can still send/receive texts, make calls, All my pictures and music are still on the phone. What does this mean?
