Boost Mobile offers an unlimited plan for only $50/month. What's the catch?

You get unlimited talking, unlimited texting, unlimited web, and unlimited walkie-talkie use, with no roaming charges and no hidden fees, all with no contract at all. And if you pay $10 extra a month, you can even go worldwide. So why should I pay $85 a month for my Verizon plan for only 900 minutes and 1500 texts on a two-year contract, and no web-use? There's got to be a catch somewhere.
 
I looked up a lot of info on Boost Mobile because I was also interested in their 50/month plan. If you go to their website under the 50/month plan there are rules and restrictions concerning the plan. Like if you use way too much web or use the phone constantly for business use or you just use it wayy too much, they can offer you a different plan or refuse to continue services for you. Thats really the only "catch" i caught.

I have also read news on their network being overloaded because of soo many new customers that they weren't expecting so their network couldn't keep up...which caused lots of dropped calls and stuff like that.

I googled and Y!Answered everything.
 
There is no catch, cell phone companies know that the bad economy can hurt them too so Boost decided to offer this plan in hopes that they can still get new customers during these bad times. However many customers report a lag in text message updates, if someone from a carrier other than boost sends you a text or mms, it can sometimes take over an hour for you to receive it. Boost knows about the problem and has issued many updates to fix the problem but it still seems to be affecting a large number of customers.
