so recently started working at boost juice and trying to work out whether they're paying correctly..
i have done some research into award wages, and both the retail and fast food industry's state award is around $20, with penalty rates given on weekends..
my pay is currently around $18 with no penalty rates..
my manager says that boost has their own contract which benefits the employees- although essentially it doesnt sound like it is so... he says that the only way that someone loses out is if they continunously work on sundays..they say there is a clause that prevents this- i have had 3 sunday shifts in a row.. so I am finding that Im deffinetely losing out.. I suppose because they hire alot of foreigners they figure they can get away with anything.. does anyone know where I can get hold of the boost contact for award wages?
