What novels/literature pertaining to historical events or popular culture are usually tested on the AP US History exam? (like The Jungle by Upton Sinclair, etc...)

You don't have to know about books for it. It's not AP English
If you want to do well, get a Kaplan AP US review book and study it. That's what I did.
