Currently, I'm writing my first novel about mermaids (don't tell me it's a stupid idea, because that's not what I'm asking) What I want to know is if there are any books I can buy or hire from the library that have about mermaid history (some of the first stories maybe) Obviously I'm not looking for non-fiction but I want it to be the truth about where the stories originated from.
