Books like harry potter and the Twilight saga?

I just finished the Twilight saga books and I read the Harry Potter books before that, I am clueless when it comes to good books. ( I DO happen to judge the book by the cover, I'm working on that though) what would be a good book collection ( hopefully) That involves Adventure/Action/Fiction/Romance/and some entertaining comedy? Thanks ^_^
