I'm planning a trip to Japan this fall by myself, and I'm wondering if anyone on here has done the same? I'm a 23 year old male from Canada and I'm looking to take a two week trip to Tokyo and hopefully see Kyoto as well. I've been looking on Expedia and Hotwire for hotel+flight deals and I've found some for just over $2000.00. That includes accommodation at a 3 star hotel and a direct flight via Air Canada. Does this sound reasonable? I don't really know how else to plan it.
I'm also wondering if I'll have a good time if I'm by myself? I generally don't mind being alone, but I've never been somewhere that far away before. I'm a photographer, so I imagine there will lots to photograph.
