administation but booking will b ok-help!? I booked a wedding venue about a month ago, got back from holiday last night to discover that I had received a letter from a company saying the venue had gone into administration! Literally a couple of weeks after all the contracts had been signed. I feel sick. The letter states that we "should notice no change in your arrangements...as the venue have promised to honour any deposits already paid" it also says "future events and functions are unaffected and will remain unchanged due to the fact that the Administrators have entered into a License of Occupation agreement with the venue who will be dealing with your special day".
Am I right to be concerned despite the letter saying I should not worry? I am cacking it big time as I was so looking forward to it and am worried about losing thousands of pounds and having my day ruined.
Any help or advice I would really appreicate.
