I need some titles of books that follow this storyline:
A girl has a friend who is in love with her, but she is too distracted by the world and trying to understand her place in it to see and appreciate it. He is hurt and resolves to move on, and while they remain friends there no longer seems to be any romantic potential whatsoever. However, years later, with years comes slow confidence and self-identity, and as she begins to understand more about herself she realizes that she is very much interested in the friend she's half-way taken for granted, but the question now is whether or not she's too late to have him.
Any ideas?
