A couple of years ago I came across some books that I really liked. I believe that they were in a series but I have no idea the titles of the books or the authors ( they were by different authors but followed the same type of theme). One of the books was about a politician's daughter who moved to Alaska and fell in love with a Russian immigrant's son. I think his name was Ivan. The time was when the Russians had sold Alaska to the United States. For some reason I want to think that the title of the book was "Megan", but im not positive. The other books was about a rope walker who fell in love with another performer. Maybe her name was Gabriella?
