Okay, the Deathgate Series was awesome. Great characters, plot twists, magic system, awesome locations, DRAGONS, creatures, etc. The ideal fantasy series.
Are there any other series like this? And PLEASE, Twilight is NOTHING like this (it's barely fantasy) so don't suggest it. I've read the usual suspects (Harry Potter, LOTR, Wheel of Time). Again, anything high fantasy, awesome places, dragons, etc.
