Book recommended by The Shack's author about Apostle John?

It seems I recall seeing a link from William Young's website about a freely-downloadable novel. The novel was the story of a mysterious character whom the main character thinks might be the original apostle John--somehow out of his time. Does anyone have any information about this book or its author?
