I don't read that much but I would like to read a lot more. I am looking for a horror read that is creepy but will NOT scare me senseless! Maybe a gothic-styled novel, if you have seen the movie 'The Others' - that is pretty much what I want but in book form.
The thing is I am really easy to disorientate and don't want to be so scared I can't sleep, talk or leave the house for ages!!!
Recommendations please?
