Hello,
I was in Hamburg recently and went to the Hamburg Dungeon, it reveals some of the disasters which happened there such as the great fire in the 1842 and the great flood in the 1962. It really got me interested in the history of the city, it has seen a lot. I looked it up in Wikipedia and found there were more things that happened like the pests issue and the great bombing in WWII. I was wondering if there is a book (preferably in English) that talks about all these disasters and history of Hamburg, I tried searching it on Amazon but didn’t find one complete book.
Did anyone come across such a book?
