The story goes that a foal was born in a meadow him and his mother try to pass a river on some stones he falls in and over a waterfall hurts his leg and mother can't get to him so she leaves. After a few days the foal get asked by the sun or whatever if he wants to live but says he can never go back to the other horses, he says yes and becomes a unicorn.
