Bold CH 641 not showing up in EPG

I want to browse through the listings on CBC BOLD channel 641 to see if anything interests me enough to subscribe to it. However it's not showing up in my guide, not even marked in red when I've got "all channels" selected.

I checked my signal levels, all look great on both 82 and 91.

Shouldn't I be seeing this channel's listings? I'm a Canadian expat living south of the border with auto-billing now so I can't really call Bell from here to ask.
 
It won't show up in your guide unless you subscribe to it. Do a 'net search for the channel, and you should come up with a website that has a programme guide.
 
Why is that?

It looks like I can see all the other channels I don't subscribe to. They're displayed when I've got the guide set to show "all channels". The ones I don't subscribe to have the channel name/number highlighted in red, but the data is all there.

Why should 641 be any different?
 
Some channels, usually ones they want to really ush, do show up in the "all channel" version of the guide.

Others, such as channels that are not available in your market, and other reasons, do not. This is a choice mae by the provider.
 
OK, thanks for the info. I assumed I should be able to see everything since I hadn't ever noticed any other channels missing from the EPG, other than the HD channels on my non-HD PVR. Anyway, I'll look for a program guide online.
 
The ones in red only show up because you can subscribe to them individually, outside of a package, using your remote. The ones that can only be subscribed to using a package that you do not already subscribe to won't show up.
