bold 9700 vs HTC maple

im trying to make the jump to wind and test their network out, so i went to a wind store in oakville and checked out the handsets... i was going to buy that huawei touch screen phone... that os is a fail...checked out the nokia... fail...

the maple is running win mobile i guess, i had a htc tytn years ago for about 3 weeks and i hated it. now the maple may be better?

the bold downfall...$450 a whopping $200 more than the maple... if we were talking 300-350 it wouldnt be a contest. i have been a blackberry user for years, every time i attempt another phone i hate it and go back to the berry.(i guess this should be my answer right here)

now if i buy a cheap wind phone and their service is acceptable for my use i will be upgrading to the blackberry but if i get the maple i would keep it because of the price tag on it.

anyone here use the maple? would i hate this phone?
 
If you're just checking out the service I kind of don't see how the phone being a failure matters much, just pick the Nokia.
 
Chew on the cost and get the Blackberry 9700. Its the best Berry so far. I've got people who had used other Berries before including the Bold 9000 and the comment was that the Bold2 9700 is that much better over the 9000 Bold, starting with the speed and stability of the OS.
