Body vibrating!

I have this vibrating feeling that has been going on for more than a year now.
It seems to be coming under the pubic bone area, and it radiates down my legs as well.
When the vibration is VERY strong, it climbs up my stomach further.
It feels like I am vibrating like a tuning fork. This constant buzzing/vibration
could last days or weeks at a time. Most times it's just an incredible annoyance.
But there are times where it becomes VERY strong and it's hard to concentrate on anything else.

I have gone to my Dr. about this and we are going through a series of tests
(Lime Disease was checked and came back negative) to try and weed out as many
possibilities as we can. So far the only thing that caught my Dr's attention
was a CT Scan done on my lower spine. I am 43 years old, and he mentioned
that the CT scan shows a couple of the lower vertebra (5th?) has deteriorated
like that of a man in his 70's.
Also (weird as this is) the CT Scan found a bullet or what appears to be
a bullet. I have NO idea how this is possible as I have never been shot at.

Anyway, I'm hoping maybe someone out there has some idea's I can go to my Dr.
with to maybe turn his attention to. I am completely frustrated with this
buzzing/vibrating and it has seriously effected my work/home life as it
dictates my sleep and relaxing time.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Hi,
Ijust read your post and also have had a similar vibrating problem for several years. I also have quite a bit of degeneration in my lower spine and cervical spine. Mine bothers my legs and feet but the most annoying place is a vibrating in my chest. It rather feels like a little motor running in there more during the night than in the daytime. Saw a neurologist who thought it might be a neuropathy but the tests were ok. Had my heart checked out and that is fine except for a slight tri-cuspid valve leak. I suppose it could be that I feel that when I am very quiet but I really think it is coming from the spine. If I put my hand on the refrigerator when it is running, that is the feeling. My doctor gave me a RX. for .025 of xanax to to take before bed and it has really helped me sleep through the night. I also have the leg and foot thing going on 24-7 . I think the xanax calms the nerve endings. I have also read that people have the phantom vibrating in their legs when they carry their cell phones in their pockets on vibrating. So that is a thought for you if you carry your phone that way. Wish I could be more help to you because I certainly know how annoying it can be.
