Hi,
I have had 3 minor episodes of back pain in the past 5 years - did an MRI - L4/L5 lesion was the diagnosis.
Each time I was advised PT and it went away completely I was back to my normal life including playing volleyball.
Last March(2010) it reocurred and this time it has been real bad. Went to the PT as usual - and the pain didnt go away after 2 weeks(which was my previous experience). Also this time I had intermittent pain on my right hips as well.
Went to an ortho spine surgeon and he put me on 1 week NSAID and advised PT again after that - I am going thro it currently for the last 3 weeks.

QUESTIONS I HAVE:
The pain has defintely reduced quite a bit now - However, when I wake up in the morning, my body is shifted down on the right side - Is this common?
After walking for a while(10-15 minutes) I become straight - Why is this?

This shifting along with stiffness happens when I drive for more than 15 minutes as well. Also same with most of the chairs/booths in the restaurants as well. After I walk/stand for 15-20 minutes, I kinda become straight.

Is there a solution for this - I would value your expert opinons and suggestions. I have also tried chiro for about 4 weeks, however the pain has come down significantly - this current condition has limited my mobiity (travel to work and things like that)

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
