It's a good thing Bobby Jindal is concerned about wildlife and the coast...he wouldn't do anything to harm such fragile habitats. I hope....wait....

Cliffs:Jindal wants to look like a hero says he's trying to save the wetlands and gulf coast from oil.In reality he's helping accelerate the erosion of the barrier islands and placing a federal wildlife refuge at risk. Also placing the coast of LA at risk.He just wants to argue with the federal gov't to make it look like he's doing something at the cost of $360 Million....when really he's doing more damage than good.Government intervention at it's finest. Good job Jindal.

Here's a good article from a coastal scientist....Rob Young (the guy qurabroad
ed in the above article)

He's an idirabroad
and really allowing a crisis go to waste. Nrabroad
really furthering the cause of politicians whose parents come from far away lands...

Then stop the work.
Let the refuge get inundated with oil and the wildlife killed and we can deal with the mess afterwards.

Problem solved.

Proof it's useful?

That's the point you people are missing. You assume it'll work cause it sounds like a good idea.

If you waste $360 million, be it on social programs or this garbage....it's still wasting money.
