Hello.
I'm asking on behalf of a friend who bought her son a WTP Arcade 20 10 Black BMX Bike as a Christmas present. I know nothing about BMX or the bikes themselves so be gentle with me!
Since Christmas,my friends son has had three injuries. The first was when the pedal snapped and he fell sideways grazing and hurting himself. The second time was when the gear-wheel malfunctioned and somehow caused him to go over the handlebars into a busy main road. The third was when something went wrong with the handlebars themselves which detached themselves whilst doing a small manoevre.
The bike has been sent back to the shop and it currently sits awaiting its fourth repair. I would specifically like to know if there is a fault in the design of a WTP Arcade 20 10 Black BMX bike.I would also like to know if there have ever been any UK reviews of this bike and would you please kindly send me any links to this effect.Lastly, where is this bike made?
Any help and direction you can give me would really be appreciated. The young lad of 12 whose the owner of the bike doesn't understand why it rarely works, and his Mum whose spent nearly £300 on this bike which hardly ever works either but for which her son has been injured.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
