Hi All,
I purchased insignia bluetooth speakers, and have had a hell of a time trying to get them to work. My system pairs with the speaker, but then it requests a driver for the "peripheral device". There are no peripheral device driver that come with the speaker. I contacted insignia and they said it is V1.2 compliant and supports only AVRCP and A2DP bluetooth profiles. Could it be that I don't have the right profiles installed on my computer? I can't upload the broadcom drivers from their site. It either won't detect my generic bluetooth device, or it won't validate by belkin bluetooth device. BTW, when I go to check on my computer, the only playback device recognized are the built in speakers that came with the computer. I am at my wits end. If anyone can help me, I would be forever grateful. Gateway doesn't have any drivers for bluetooth for my t-6836. Ugh...this is truly frustrating.
I have tried activating audio sink and headset in services, it doesn't work...
