...over bluetooth PAN? This is driving me absolutely crazy. I can't figure it out. I connect one of my PCs through bluetooth to my cell phone's internet connection with a Personal Area Network connection (use phone as modem with high speed 3G network). I want to enable Internet Connection Sharing in Windows XP so that this PAN connection will allow me to connect other PCs in my LAN to the internet through a shared connection from this one PC connected to my phone. I've googled this for weeks, I've tried everything I can think of. There is no option for "share this connection" in the properties tab for the PAN connection. I can't bridge the PAN and LAN connections. How can I do this? I don't want to have to pay for a high speed connection when I already have one that works through my phone. But I can only connect one PC at a time to it through bluetooth. Somebody please help me . . . I can't get DSL, and I don't want to spend $60 a month for cable internet. Better yet . . . how could I get this going with Linux? I actually use Linux on most of my computers, but I thought it would be easier to do this with Windows, since I'm kind of a n00b with Linux.
