bluetooth on my iphone doesnt work?

i just got the new 32G iphone today
and ive been setting it up
but i cant seem to get bluetooth to work

on the apple site, the specs for the new iphones does say it has bluetooth
i can find blue tooth in settings, i can turn it on, and i can even find my new phone when searching for devices

but i cant connect or send anything...
why?
and if so how can i fix it ?
oh damn, so does that mean that i can't download anything to solve that?
or is that just how i have to live with it
 
bluetooth on iphones doesnt connect to non iphones.. \

the little app picture of the bluetooth thing is 2 fones in a blue box nearly touching each other with signals coming from the top
