Bluetooth on a computer. How to use it?

I connected my nokia 5800 to my laptop via bluetooth, nothing hard, but when i went to the device options, i clicked services and it displayed a list of a couple if things, one in-particular "remote control". I have used this function before but not on this phone, but it was by accident. How do i start the remote control function? what do i do?
