I have a Cingular branded Nokia 6682 and used to be able to sync up via Bluetooth with my Macbook and send/receive files with other phones. Today I noticed no matter what I do, my Bluetooth icon on my phone simply doesn't show up. If I browse for other Bluetooth devices from my phone, it won't find them. Similarly, no devices will find my phone. I have tried toggling BT on/off and configuring the phone's visibility to other devices to no avail. I updated my firmware about a month ago using Nokia's firmware updater to version 4.65 (I think?) and its Bluetooth was working fine after this procedure.
Does anyone know what might be causing the problem and/or know of a solution?
