Bluetooth Headset Compatibility :S no idea!!?

Ok so i've been looking on ebay for a bluetooth headset that I could use with my cell phone (LG Versa) or VX9600. It has a bluetooth version of 2.1+EDR and i have absolute no idea what that means. And i found this headset and i was wondering if this was compatible with my phone or not??
