Bluetooth devices not getting detected?

Really Weird .. I just Found out the solution .. But still some doubts

So I have a dell inspiron 15 R laptop .. I was using my bluetooth continuously .. Then suddenly after one system reboot it doesnt work at all .. :o ..The BT icon shows in the tray but when I try and access any of the features "open settings" "show bluetooth devices" etc nothing works, the only item which opens is the "add a device" dialog box. After that the devices are never shown .. The w8ing just goes on and on ..I downloaded the latest drivers.. But still no reply from the devices menu or the settings ..
So I was gonna ask about it here and suddenly i thought that it might be disabled in startup .. So i typed msconfig in run and went to start up section but everything seemed alright .. Suddenly i noticed the bluetooth support service was disabled in services . So just out of curiosity i went to services-run as administrator and enabled it . Boom .. Everything is back 2 normal ..
So my question is this .. How can my bluetooth service which was dere for the last 3 months get disabled automatically ? As far as i remember i installed a theme and a keylogger software known as keyprowler today? This softie can cause this ?
LOL Bro .. I said i solved the problem .. Just wanted 2 know what caused it ..
