I was wondering if anyone has tried using/or is currently using this (http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=0&pid=34) bluetooth connector for there iMac. Please note im on the 17" 4th generation (non-allumnium). My mac is 1 model under built in bluetooth and is getting up there in age, so I would love to have bluetooth but im unsure of my options.
I have heard horror stories of a certain bluetooth connectors failure after a certain Firmware update (Note: Im running 10.5.2, Leopord). This is why im in perticular asking. If anyone knows this connector modle works, or if you use another model please tell me. Thank you!
Apparently the Link may NOT work for some people out there. The model number of the Bluetooth connector is D-Link Wireless Bluetooth 2.0 USB Adapter (DBT-120). Please note, both of the companies given "information" is WAY out of date. Apples was last updated back in '04 claiming this works, and D-link is also a bit out of date! =P.
