I have read posts on here about the Blue light acne lamp. The only thing I could find online was Blue/Red light corabo. Is that the same thing? Does it cause damage to the skin long term like a tanning booth would? Does it have skin cancer risks with the rays it puts out?

hi, allegedlly them lamps are meant to be harmless, although they do dry you're skin out a bit, so I guess they can age/wrinkle you're skin years down the line.

I found it worked on my face but not for cystic acne on my neck, which is my real problem...If you only have acne on you're face then I guess you could give it a go, the lamp doesnt give you a tan like a sun bed would. and as I said they are allegedly harmless....perhaps

getting info on them things is hard, I bet even most skin specialists aint even clued up....

I have used a blue only acne lamp it helped me a lot. It also helped the redness I sometimes get on my cheecks. It took about 2 weeks for the acne to start going away, but it did. I only use it now when I have little flare ups. I don't have to use it all the time now. Hope this helps you.
