i just purchased a 1974 dodge charger with a 318 and 727TCI Transmission i want to install a blower for it. what kind should i get and where should i get it from?
this is more details about my car hope it helps 1974 Dodge Charger w/ 318 non original motor car has 269,000 miles but engine was rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago 727TCI Transmission, clutch, stall converter, and B&M shifter from Summit Racing all w/ 3,000 miles Deep Alum. Oil Pan, MSD Ignition w/ programmable timing computer, MSD distributer, cap, & rotor, Edelbroke carb. w/ Edelbroke alum. intake, Hooker super comp headers, Hooker stainless steel glasspacks, Drive shaft loop, Heavy duty leaf springs, New gas tank, New gas lines, Holley fuel pump, Electric Fan

That depends on your power goals and whether the engine has forged internals or not. If it's a low compression 1974 318 without forged internals, then run a mini blower with no more then 5psi boost. Otherwise, you can run a lot more with forged internals. The key to running a blower setup is getting the timing and air/fuel ratio just right.

Hope this helps.
