Hi, Im new here. I am 20 years old, 5'9" and 160 lbs in good shape. I exercise regularly as well.
I recently went for a blood test and my glucose levels (fasting) were 96 mg/dL. Now thats within the normal range but it is high in that range. The normal range is 65-99.
Is this something I should be worried about? Do levels usually increase with age and should I expect it to increase to pre-diabetes levels soon? Or do some people just naturally have a slightly higher glucose level?
Also, looking over my blood work I saw:
Hepatitis B Surface Ab: Reactive (out of range)
Hepatitis B Surface Ag: Nonreactive (within range)
Hepatitis C Ab (IgC): Nonreactive (within range)
What does the reactive result on the Hep B Surface Ab mean? I am just wondering as I am sure if it was bad my doctor wouldve told me? Based on what I read, it just means I was successfully immunized to Hep B?
Thank you for your help!
