Is it possible for a dog to have lymphoma even if the blood tests have come back normal?
My 9 year old beagle has very swollen lymph nodes all over her body and the antibiotics the vet put her on (and steroids) didn't work. So yesterday he changed them. He told me to give her four more days on these new ones before he does an ultrasound to check for liver/kidney cancer.
But he never mentioned lymphoma. I'm only now finding out that it could possibly be lymphoma, but i remember him telling me that her blood tests came back normal so maybe that's why he doesn't think it is lymphoma?
He's coming to check her on monday again, but I'm trying to do as much research as I can before then. I'm also planning on having a second opinion done.
