had a reaction. Can it be true? After feeling out of shape and down, I went to see a naturopath/nutritionist to guide me on my quest for better health. She immediately put me on a liver cleanse that consisted only of fruits, veggies, organic chicken, and organic turkey. No sugar, no caffeine, no carbonated drinks, and no fatty foods. I've had stomach problems from eating fatty, processed foods in large quantities. I admit the drive thru was my best friend. Since the cleanse, I've started feeling much better having eliminated the processed foods and sugars. When I began my cleanse, she drew blood and sent it in for allergy testing. The test came back and the IGE indicated I'm allergic to egg whites, but not yolks, and wheat. I've eaten these foods all my life with no reaction. In my youth, I was healthy and did not experience the stomach issues BUT I am lactose intolerant. She has me scared that I will never be able to eat eggs (they are in pasta and baked goods) or wheat products again. I just don't get it. Can someone explain?

what she means is you are allergic to egg yokes, but in large ammounts. i'm allergic to soy and peanuts, only about .2% though. I still eat a lot of peanut butter, and almost everything includes soy in their products, exept organic foods. You can still eat eggs, just do not eat a lot of them at one. Eggs are very acidy foods which is why they might be hurting you stomach.
