The total number of children of A8 families receiving child benefit has topped 100,000 for the first time. There were just under 13,000 applications granted in the first three months of this year bringing the total number of child benefit pay-outs to 102,029. A further 58,000 A8 applicants are receiving tax credits.

The UK is refered to as the 'The Golden Isle' by foriegners (even the American business community).
Is it time to say 'No More' and remove all benefits from non-nationals unless they have paid at least 250 class one NI contributions, and paid tax at the same time?
As for those comming in, if they cannot support themselves ie. have enough cash to pay for housing, food, and have private medical cover etc.to be deinied entry?
