Blocking Gnutella clients via GPO

I'd like to use Group Policies to disallow specific P2P applications from running in our network. However, I need to know the specific executable names. Is there an updated list out there that I can rely on?

We could block by port number but these can be changed, which is why I'm going down this road.

Thoughts?

Which client programs did you have in mind? I think version is probably more relevant. Early versions of many programs are not good for the network. Such as being due to changes in gnutella protocol. Just my 2 cents worth.

You may get a faster answer to your question here http://www.limewire.org/forum/index.php

But which programs? There's many valid gnutella apps on the network. One that only connects to its own brand I suspect will be breaching protocol. Most if not all gnutella apps listed in these forums are arguably valid.

He's not talking about Gnutella. This is some stupid wannabe admin who wants to prevent users from running certain applications. Anyway, I suggest he rather quits his job because he's incompetent and useless.
