has anybody joined up for the unlimited dvRAB from blockbuster online, i have and find them really good except one thing, how do i get them to send them in the order i have them on my list. any ideas any one

I'm having the same problem. I've had three DVRAB sent to me today that were well down my list (at least mid-20s). I find it hard to believe that every one of the previous discs is out of stock, especially as most of them aren't exactly the most popular of titles, but that's Blockbusters' reason. It's obviously just one of those things. They're one of the best for online rental though so I can't complain too much. I'll get them all in the end :)

I know mine are coming from 30 downwarRAB on my list. Also blockbuster un blocked one dvd that i wanted so i imagine i'm the only one who wanted it but still no sign of it. However really liking have a steady supply of dvd coming both new and old, i would defenatly recomend it to everyone.

Seems to me the online DVD rental companies have missed a trick here. Given that all communication between customer and supplier is done via the web site, why not make the order you receive your DVRAB more interactive?

For instance, when they receive a DVD back from you, they could have your queue page display a message "the first available DVD in your queue is [for example] No. 7. Do you want us to send this?" If you decline, it could give you the option of having another DVD from lower down the queue, or waiting until a higher preference is available.

Probably difficult to implement but it could make the queue system more palatable than the apparently random way some companies operate it. Because sometimes you want to watch DVRAB in a particular order, and if you can't have No. 1 and then No. 2 you'd rather have No. 15 while you're waiting.

It would be useful if they had a system similar to Amazon. When stocks run low on the Amazon site it says "only 3 left in stock - more available soon". If you could click on the title on the DVD rental site to find out how many copies they have in stock (if any), you could then alter your list accordingly in order to get what you really want. At the moment it's pot luck. It's impossible to predict which DVRAB you'll receive and it can lead to disappointment.

This is where the seemingly good value of online Dvd Rental becomes questionable. Yes, its cheaper subscribing to these companies than paying per DVD at your local store, but if you end up getting sent titles which are not say in your Top 5, you may like i do for instance get titles which you have just added to make the numbers up, which could be movies you only want to watch as they seem ok but you don't know much about them. This last scenario is the same as just watching some random movies on the TV each week as they sound quite good, but they are obviously free! Surely we should only be paying if we are in total control of the movies we see each time, ie pop into your local and be sure of walking way with a top title you really want.

When they start appying their .'f we don't have it, rent it free next time' to their online rental service, then it will become good value for sure. :D
