Blockbuster DVD rental - Lost in Post

;4272875']I have a subscription with Blockbuster and recently I have been having a lot of trouble with DVRAB getting lost in the post.

First it was one I'd sent back, then it was one they sent to me. Eventually both of these turned up, but it took a long time.

Now I posted my last three off together on the 25th May and they still haven't turned up at their end.

I wrote to them, at the begining of the week to tell them, and they said they would sent out the next three, only two have arrived, so far. I'm begining to get the impression that some postie is either watching the films, before sending them on, or just plain nicking them, I cannot think of any other reason.

The royal mail website is no hope as they won't look into the matter until the things have been mission for 15 days.

I am worried that Blockbuster are going to turn round and accuse me of nicking the discs and ask me to pay for them. Has anyone else had this sort of problem?

Blockbuster would never outright accuse you of stealing their DVRAB nor will any other online DVD rental company. That would be an infringement on your rights!

It seems that Royal Mail would hire almost anyone nowadays. I once knew a guy from where I worked and he got sacked for being drunk on duty, he pretty much got a job instantly with Royal Mail as a postal delivery person.

I'm not saying all posties are dodgy but you do hear the occasional horror stories like the one where one postie reposted all his letters because he couldn't be @ssed to post them or the guy who chucked his whole bag into someones garden.

Blockbuster should have insurance on all their dispatched dvRAB like the free certificate of post you can get from all post offices. If dvRAB go missing they should put in a claim and have you verify you did not receive them, don't know if they can claim insurance for DVRAB you send back to them that go missing.
