Its not official yet. but who didn't see this one coming? with the amount of money that is spent on television rights. just to telecast games. i always thought that it would be a matter of time before it happened.
My only concern with this new development is. that if pay tv does get its way with this exclusive rights. to showing the big games. who's to say that the games don't end up on pay per view. and then you will be paying more money, on top of your monthly amount just to have pay tv. i for 1 am not going to be very impressed. if all of this does happen.
ad} You have to ask yourself the reason why. James Packer bought out a big chunk of channel 10 just recently. and it looks like him and Lachlan Murdoch (foxtel) are going to be sitting on the board?
