I'll admit to being a complete Newbie with the TX as I upgraded (finally from a VIIx) a couple of weeks ago. Here's the only real problem I've encountered so far and I'd like some help.
When I access a discussion group with the blazer I get the following message screen:
Scout.com
Forums Application Error
Sorry, the Scout.com Forums require scripting of ActiveX controls already on your machine.
Please try one of the following options:
Add Scout.com Forums to your trusted sites:
From the "Tools" Menu, select "Internet Options"
Select the "Security" tab
Select "Trusted sites" and click "Sites" button
Add http://*.scout.com to the list of websites, click "Close" and then "Apply"
Lower your browser security setting to 'Medium':
From the "Tools" menu, select "Internet Options"
Select the "Security" tab
Set the security level for Internet Sites to 'Medium' and click "Apply"
Create a custom security level based on 'High' with the following modifications:
Enable: Scripting / Active scripting
Enable: ActiveX Controls and plug-ins / Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
Enable: ActiveX Controls and plug-ins / Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting
Install or use the Firefox browser for a user experience similar to Internet Explorer.
Install or use the Opera browser for an html user experience.
Click your back button or here to try again.
Any body have any suggestions?
thanks
