blazer question

Is there a way to make blazer NOT go to the mobile version of a web page? If i type in an address to a local news site, it automatically sets it to the mobile version (wap.xxx.xxx). Even if i type the normal address, it re-routes me. I wanted to look at a weather map, and the maps on the mobile pages are just way too small to be of any value, so i want the normal page with the full size maps.

If not, is there a browser that will do what I tell it to, rather than try and tell me what it thinks is best? I hate when programs tell me what to do....

Blazer is not capable of re-routing on it's own. Your local news site has a browser detect script within it's HTML. Such scripts are used to detect between Netscape and Explorer HTML extentions. This is the first I have heard of it used for mobile detection. Nice idea but, if like you, someone wants the full size browser version you are stuck. The only option would be for them to add a prompt asking if you would like to switch to the mobile version or not.
