Blank texts from Blackberry Curve?

ok i have a android and my friend has a blackberry curve. this is brand new, we always text but since he got this new phone, he cannot texts me, everytime he tries it comes blank, we tried everything can someone help! he is on a Fido network and i am on Mobolicity but that nvr stopped us before
