Blank cds wont show in my windows media player.help?

So i want to burn a new cd & already downloaded all of my music the only problem now is whenever i put in a blank cd windows media player wont show it.it still says insert a blank cd.can anybody help? pleasee & thanks.

You need to create a burn list first.

Well, open the BURN tab and then insert the CD. Sometimes you have to let the computer sit for a little while until it stops making those noises that happen when it's reading a disk. When that happens, hit OK on the "Insert Disk" window that will have popped up and you should be good to go Also, what kind of discs are you using? Make sure it isn't just the disc, try another one of the same kind or of a different kind and see if any have different results.
