Hello, today i bought a Blackberry Curve 8520 on pay as you go with T-mobile. There's two things i need help with but any answer is appreciated 
1) Wifi - i have tried to connect to my wifi router at home it is a BT Hub, connecting wise its fine just there is a little white line next to it instead of a green tick. Why is this? also the little wifi icon is grey and not bright white
2) T-mobile internet - earlier in the day i went into the shop and they told me that if i bought the phone today i would receive 6 months free internet. the lady who served us didn't seem like she knew what she was doing but i have been on the internet seeing if my wifi would connect but i have been charged for this? shoudn't this be free or is there a code i should text
Its all giving me a big headache this is the first blackberry i have owned and im not very good with all this technical talk. Please answer quickly as im really confused.
