BlackBerry Tour with Telus, no sim card?

Almost two years ago, I bought a Tour from Telus on a 3 year thing. I want to buy my friend's unlocked phone from her, but I have no sim card to switch phones? I would be switching from the Tour to the Bold 9700 but I don't know how because I don't have a sim card? Is it possible with Telus, or do they just not give out sim cards?
