Turned on my Blackberry Tour the other night to find that the trackball will no longer scroll up.
I have tried the following:
Pressing in on the trackball and rolling it in every direction
Rubbing the phone face down on a paper
Cleaning the trackball with a lens wipe
Cleaning the trackball with rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip
Doing the "paper strip" trick where you get a strip of paper under the trackball and move it around
None of these suggestions worked. I have a Blackberry Tour 9630. The phone is out of warranty and I really just can't afford a new phone right now. I have insurance on the phone, but there is a $100 deductible to have it replaced...ripoff Verizon.
Anyone have any ideas???
