I am half way through my two year contract with Verizon. I would like to purchase the storm for verizon from some where besides a verizon retail store. But I dont want to have to pay the extra $30.00 monthly data package. So if i bought a new storm off ebay for example and asked verizon to switch my number over would they do it? I currently do not have a data plan? Will it work?? (basically will I get away with not having it)?
